{"id":3610,"date":"2010-08-26T17:31:37","date_gmt":"2010-08-26T09:31:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pinyin.info\/news\/?p=3610"},"modified":"2018-08-28T12:25:53","modified_gmt":"2018-08-28T04:25:53","slug":"a-brief-list-of-some-romanization-related-books","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pinyin.info\/news\/2010\/a-brief-list-of-some-romanization-related-books\/","title":{"rendered":"a brief list of some romanization-related books"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My good friend Jim, known to many through his blogs <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beijingboyce.com\/\">Beijing Boyce<\/a> (<em>the<\/em> guide to the bars of Beijing &#8212; and lots of restaurants there as well) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grapewallofchina.com\/\">Grape Wall of China<\/a> (for China&#8217;s wine scene), has a new site focusing on books about or touching upon China. <\/p>\n<p>He asked me to contribute my list of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chinabookbites.com\/?p=28\">top five romanization-related books in English<\/a>.
